Mr. Stoops joined SBA Communications in 1997 and has been the Chief Executive Officer since 2002. He was appointed president in 2000 and a director of the company in 1999. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel, where he was responsible for finance activities, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and legal affairs of the organization, including the supply and purchase of the first towers for the company. Before joining SBA, he was a partner in Gunster, a Florida-based law firm, where he practiced for thirteen years in the corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions areas. Mr. Stoops serves on the Board of Directors of the Wireless Industry Association (WIA), the trade organization of the wireless communications infrastructure industry. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, West Palm Beach, Florida, the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc. (the organization responsible for producing the annual Honda Classic golf tournament in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida), Seminole Boosters, Inc. and the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, West Palm Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from Florida State University.

Mr. Cane has served as Executive Vice President and President, International since 2023. He joined SBA in 2019 as Senior Vice President – International Operations, responsible for the oversight of all our Western Hemisphere operations outside of the U.S. Mr. Cane has more than 35 years in telecommunications, including a variety of senior roles at Ericsson, supporting managed services and field operations in North America. Prior to Ericsson, Mr. Cane served as a senior executive for several wireless network operators, including as Chief Operating Officer for Woosh Wireless in New Zealand, Chief Technical Officer for Bell Atlantic International/Grupo Iusacell in Mexico, Chief Operating Officer for PrimeCo Personal Communications in Chicago and customer sales/service leadership positions for Motorola/Nokia Networks. He began his telecommunications career with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), progressing through various management positions in network, finance and marketing. Mr. Cane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.

Mr. Cavanagh joined SBA in 1998 and has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2008. He has held various positions within SBA including serving as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President, Site Administration. During his career at SBA, he has been responsible for finance, capital market activities, accounting, tax, information technology and lease administration. Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Cavanagh was a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen. Mr. Cavanagh serves on the Board of Directors of 4KIDS of South Florida, a nonprofit foster care organization. Mr. Cavanagh is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University and his Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.

Mr. Ciarfella started with SBA in 2007. He is responsible for the company’s tower operations, services business and new tower development activities. Mr. Ciarfella was formerly the Vice President, New Builds at SBA where he managed the organization’s new tower development activities. Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Ciarfella was the co-owner of a Florida-based site development services company that provided site acquisition, zoning, construction management and program management services to the wireless telecommunication industry. Mr. Ciarfella has over a decade of experience in the wireless telecommunication business working directly with PrimeCo Personal Communications and as a consultant for multiple other carriers and tower companies. Mr. Ciarfella has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Florida Atlantic University.

He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Wireless Safety Alliance.

Mr. Koenig joined SBA in January 2010 and has served as our Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel since 2023. Since joining SBA, Mr. Koenig has served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, including Assistant Secretary & Corporate Counsel – Finance & Compliance, Vice President & Associate General Counsel – International, and Senior Vice President, Legal – International. Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Koenig was as an associate with the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, specializing in corporate and financing transactions. Mr. Koenig is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor, and the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He is a member of the New York Bar and authorized house counsel in Florida.

Mr. Silberstein began with the company in December 1993 and is currently responsible for the sales and leasing of SBA owned towers and the overall operations of our managed sites. He has been in his current role for approximately twenty years and has primary responsibility for tower space sales while overseeing site marketing, site leasing and records management. Previously, Mr. Silberstein was successful in a variety of roles for SBA, including Regional Director for Florida, Director of the SBA Collocation Division and Director of Business Development. Mr. Silberstein is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he majored in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.
